This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Commitment to contributing to a high-performing team, delivering outstanding legal services, and supporting Archimedes' growth and development.
• Provide analysis and legal counsel to Archimedes on matters concerning contracts, statutes and regulations, products, employment law, intellectual property, financial offerings, financial structuring, real estate transactions, and strategic planning.
• Collaborate effectively with Lumicera and Navitus teams to ensure adherence to applicable laws, ethical business practices, and the mission and values of Navitus.
• Ensure the Archimedes Legal Team operates effectively and efficiently to meet organizational requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts on behalf of Archimedes; keep and proactively update contract templates in line with evolving business needs and legal standards; write and manage complex vendor, client, and employment contracts.
• Oversee processes associated with licensing and regulatory obligations for Archimedes.
• Guide the development of new initiatives at Archimedes from a legal standpoint and offer advice on legal matters that influence the organization’s overall direction and impact regarding contracts and IT systems.
• Update, review, and endorse policies and procedures pertinent to Archimedes’ legal requirements.
• Conduct research and analysis of statutes, judicial rulings, legal articles, contracts, and legal codes as necessary.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant state, federal, and local laws and regulations, as well as pertinent policies and procedures, to ensure actions align with Archimedes’ mission and values alongside organizational and professional ethical standards.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• A Juris Doctorate, LLM, or equivalent degree from an ABA accredited law school is required.
• A Business or pharmacy degree is preferred.
• A license to practice law in at least one US state is required.
• A license to practice law in Wisconsin is preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years of legal experience is required.
• Proficiency in software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
