
Assistant Director, Recruitment – Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
• Provide leadership to a team of recruiters tasked with sourcing and placing professionals across the United States.
• Oversee and enhance the entire recruitment process to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance.
• Identify and implement improvements in workflow and best practices in recruitment.
• Develop training programs, tools, templates, and resources for the recruitment team.
• Manage Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment technology tools effectively.
• Assess recruitment strategies and operations using data, metrics, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Lead and supervise recruitment coordinators, administrators, and support staff.
• Provide guidance, training, and support while nurturing a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Monitor departmental metrics, production goals, individual performance, and reporting.
• Implement performance improvement plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and stakeholders on staffing and recruitment strategies.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between recruitment operations and HR functions.
• Enhance the candidate experience and address concerns impacting field professionals.
• Participate in and take ownership of the interview, selection, and onboarding processes.
• Develop strategic initiatives and action plans to achieve professional volume and profit goals.
• Align long-term team objectives with short-term individual goals, establishing clear expectations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience in the service industry and/or business management is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial position is required.
• Staffing experience is essential.
• Knowledge and experience in the education industry are preferred.
• Proficient technical skills and understanding of computer operations and applications are necessary.
• Competence in using MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital.
• Familiarity with recruitment technologies, including ATS, is important.
• Excellent skills in data analysis and reporting are required.
• Ability to identify and resolve challenges in the recruitment process.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities are necessary.
• Adaptability to changes and emerging trends in recruitment is essential.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An associate degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
