Assistant Director of Key Accounts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist designated key accounts by addressing production, recruiting, and service inquiries.

• Collaborate with internal teams to propose solutions that eliminate sales obstacles.

• Monitor and share production, recruiting, activation, and other key performance indicators.

• Refresh tracking tools and supply reports upon request.

• Work alongside recruiting teams to guide newly appointed agents into initial production.

• Define expectations, connect agents with training resources, and oversee activation progress.

• Facilitate the onboarding of agents by assisting with registration for the agent portal and other relevant tools.

• Resolve issues related to access, credentials, and navigation.

• Train agents on sales and production basics through personalized support, group training, and follow-ups.

• Provide mentorship to Recruiting Assistant Directors regarding sales and production methodologies.

• Plan, organize, and conduct regular training webinars and live, in-person seminars.

• Act as a liaison between field operations and home office partners, which includes licensing/appointments, operations, technology support, and compliance.

• Address and resolve issues that impact agents.

• Document frequent challenges, solutions, and opportunities for process enhancements.

• Communicate updates with stakeholders to minimize recurring issues and enhance the agent experience.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.

• College coursework or an associate degree is preferred but not mandatory.

• A combination of education, training, and experience may be considered equivalent.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance sales support, key account management, agency operations, recruiting support, field training, or a similar role.

• Familiarity with Medicare is essential.

• Sales experience within the Medicare sector is required.

• Background in agent onboarding and appointment/activation processes, including troubleshooting access and portal issues.

• Proven ability to provide training and coaching through webinars, group sessions, or individual support.

• Experience in tracking, analyzing, and conveying performance results, including production and recruiting metrics.

• Comprehensive understanding of the insurance sales process and agent lifecycle.

• Working knowledge of Medicare and its associated products, including Medicare Supplement/Medigap, Medicare Advantage, and Part D.

• Awareness of Medicare enrollment periods (IEP, AEP, OEP, SEP) and common late-enrollment penalties for Part B and Part D.

• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

• A demonstrated problem-solving attitude and commitment to customer service.

• Excellent organization and project management abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Willingness to learn new portals, CRMs, and reporting tools.

• Valid driver's license and capacity to travel for in-person training, seminars, and meetings.

• A Life and Health insurance license is preferred.

• Reliable and consistent attendance during assigned shifts.

• Capability to work full-time and/or part-time as per position needs.
