Assessment Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct interviews with key stakeholders and technical personnel.

• Execute technical assessments in collaboration with security engineers.

• Take meeting minutes and manage work documentation.

• Maintain a uniform writing style and approach for documenting security assessment outcomes.

• Work with delivery team members to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve project goals.

• Ensure timely delivery of quality products and services within the allocated hours.

• Build and sustain positive collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Engage in continuous professional development to pursue industry-specific certifications.

• Enhance assessment interviewing techniques to improve the efficiency of information gathering.

• Prepare deliverables and conduct peer reviews of team members’ outputs.

• Assist with FedRAMP, PCI, ISO, CMMC, and other NIST-based assessment activities.

• Travel to client locations to provide professional services as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in professional services.

• At least 2 years of assessment experience utilizing NIST SP 800-53, particularly in cloud environments.

• CYSA+ certification.

• Proficient in the Microsoft 365 product suite.

• Quick adaptability to new technologies and concepts.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Skill in developing and maintaining strong relationships with team members and clients.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced team environments.

• Legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

• Willingness to travel domestically 1–4 times per year.

• Experience in supporting NIST-based assessments, specifically related to cloud environments.
