This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive the GSI Sales initiatives across ASEAN in collaboration with local and regional Tendering and Project Execution teams.
• Assist in fostering sales growth, nurturing client relationships, and formulating effective sales strategies.
• Responsible for defining and implementing the Sales Strategy, enhancing Customer Engagement, Business Development, and Order Intake.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to GEV’s Ethics, Compliance, and operational processes.
• Hold overall accountability for developing a sales pipeline and driving margin and top-line growth for Service Opportunities related to HVDC, FACTS, and ACS.
• Establish and sustain robust relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and uncovering new business opportunities.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets and objectives within the designated country of responsibility.
• Collaborate with the Sales & Tendering teams to craft sales proposals, presentations, and quotations.
• Keep precise records of sales activities and client interactions.
• Engage in sales team meetings, training sessions, and collaborative initiatives.
• Identify and cultivate new sales leads through diverse channels.
• Recognize key opportunistic areas for synergies and collaboration between GEV and its customers.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or business from a recognized university.
• At least 10 years of sales experience in the power industry.
• Proven experience in conducting market assessments and subsequently developing and executing relevant commercial strategies to enhance market penetration.
• Excellent comprehension of ASEAN economics concerning regulatory structures and an understanding of the socio-political landscape.
• Capability to cultivate influential customer relationships, devise plans, sales strategies, presentations, and proposals.
• Strong customer-oriented mindset.
• Exceptional influence and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly at the executive level.
• Ability to effectively lead a cross-functional team and navigate a matrix organization.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
• Familiarity with market economics, competitive landscape, technology, and projects.
• Solid understanding of commercial processes.
• Strong financial analysis capabilities, including forecasting.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia, and English.
