This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

• Perform testing, inspection, and reporting to the highest standards.

• Ensure adherence to SOCOTEC quality procedures and Health & Safety regulations.

• Carry out asbestos surveys, air sampling, fibre counting, and four-stage clearance tests.

• Maintain and calibrate necessary equipment.

• Guarantee a clean and safe working environment.

• Accurately record and issue analytical reports.

• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to deliver work within agreed timelines.

• Identify opportunities to enhance SOCOTEC’s broader services.

• Engage in projects across various sectors including defence, rail, roads, power stations, retail, heritage, and services.

• Must possess BOHS P403 and P404 qualifications or RSPH Level 3 in Asbestos Air Monitoring.

• Relevant industry experience is essential with a demonstrated history in a similar position.

• Hold a full UK driving licence.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong client-facing abilities and confidence in liaising with contractors, project managers, and stakeholders.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and report preparation.

• Effective time management skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.
