Asbestos Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Perform testing, inspection, and reporting to meet the highest standards.

• Ensure adherence to SOCOTEC quality procedures and Health & Safety regulations.

• Execute asbestos surveys, air sampling, fibre counting, and four-stage clearance assessments.

• Maintain and calibrate necessary equipment.

• Uphold a clean and safe working environment.

• Document and distribute precise analytical reports.

• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to deliver work within agreed timelines.

• Identify opportunities to enhance SOCOTEC’s broader services.

• Engage in projects spanning defence, rail, roads, power stations, retail, heritage, and service sectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess BOHS P403 and P404 certifications or RSPH Level 3 in Asbestos Air Monitoring.

• Relevant industry experience is essential, with a proven history in a similar position.

• Full UK driving license required.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong client-facing abilities and confidence in liaising with contractors, project managers, and stakeholders.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and report preparation.

• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
