Asbestos Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute testing, inspection, and reporting to the highest standards.

• Ensure adherence to SOCOTEC's quality protocols and Health & Safety regulations.

• Perform asbestos surveys, air sampling, fibre counting, and four-stage clearance assessments.

• Maintain and calibrate necessary equipment.

• Guarantee a clean and safe working environment.

• Accurately record and distribute analytical reports.

• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to deliver projects within agreed timelines.

• Identify opportunities to enhance SOCOTEC’s broader services.

• Operate across various sectors, including defence, rail, roads, power stations, retail, heritage, and service industries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess BOHS P403 and P404 certifications or RSPH Level 3 in Asbestos Air Monitoring.

• Relevant industry experience is essential, with a demonstrated history in a similar position.

• Valid UK driving licence required.

• Willingness to travel is necessary.

• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

• Strong client-facing abilities.

• Confidence in communicating with contractors, project managers, and stakeholders.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data gathering and report writing.

• Proficient time management skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.
