Art Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and assess student learning logs, providing prompt and constructive feedback.

• Engage with students in real-time through 1:1, small-group, or large-group sessions.

• Guide and tutor students enrolled in designated courses.

• Design captivating lessons, activities, or educational opportunities.

• Customize resources and support to cater to individual student requirements.

• Detect at-risk students and facilitate appropriate interventions.

• Communicate with parents to offer guidance and assistance.

• Attend IEP meetings as necessary and work alongside relevant stakeholders.

• Collaborate with fellow educators to share knowledge and support students throughout the program.

• Assist a core group of assigned students while undertaking additional program responsibilities based on team and student requirements.

• Engage in a cooperative, team-focused environment dedicated to student achievement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid teaching certification in Texas with an Art endorsement.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong comprehension of individualized learning requirements.

• Compassionate, organized, patient, and reliable communicator.

• Proficient in Google Workspace, including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and Forms.

• Capable of learning various online tools, systems, and programs.

• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.

• Access to a smartphone, high-speed internet, computer, and webcam.

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

• Ability to maintain a consistent schedule of 25–27 hours per week.

• Availability during core business hours, 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. MT.

• Experience in non-traditional educational programs is preferred.

• Texas residency preferred but not mandatory.

• Must possess an active teaching license; applicants in the process of obtaining their license will not be considered.
