📋 Description

• Spearhead the creative development of marketing initiatives, product launches, and brand experiences - overseeing the process from concept to final execution.

• Create and guide engaging visual narratives that effectively convey OpenAI’s story and showcase its products.

• Transform abstract concepts and intricate technologies into clear, inspiring, and sophisticated visual communications.

• Collaborate closely with writers, designers, brand strategists, product marketing teams, and external creative partners.

• Offer visual direction for campaign photography, illustration, and video, sometimes directly and at other times through external vendors.

• Set and uphold a high standard of visual quality across all marketing materials, ensuring alignment with OpenAI’s evolving brand identity.

• Participate in the ongoing development of OpenAI’s brand system in ways that are scalable, distinctive, and expressive.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess over 10 years of experience as an Art Director, either in-house or at a renowned creative agency, with a portfolio demonstrating work for modern technology brands.

• Hold a robust background in visual design with proficiency across various media - digital, social, film, print, and experiential.

• Exhibit conceptual thinking abilities, capable of ideating strategically and visually across diverse formats and marketing campaigns.

• Be comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and have experience scaling ideas within tight timelines.

• Show a passion for design craftsmanship and a commitment to developing systems and narratives that enhance brand presence over time.

• Appreciate collaboration and feedback, thriving in cross-functional settings that include marketing, design, and product teams.
