This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +2 more states.
• Oversee, guide, and mentor a team of more than 5 account managers and outside sales executives by establishing sales targets, performance metrics, and strategic objectives.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies aimed at retaining current clients and securing new accounts.
• Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service divisions to enhance market penetration and improve customer experience.
• Engage in high-level negotiations with key clients, ensuring the establishment of profitable long-term relationships.
• Evaluate market trends and customer requirements to pinpoint opportunities and challenges.
• Prepare reports on account status, forecasting, and business development for senior management and stakeholders.
• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes within the sales department to optimize ROI.
• Enhance sales processes and methodologies through training, development, and the adoption of best practices.
• Act as the company representative at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in leading high-achieving B2B technology sales teams.
• Preferably possess experience in managed service providers (MSP), managed services, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or infrastructure services.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new logos and driving account growth and retention sales initiatives.
• Experience in managing business development representatives, outside salespersons, account executives, and account managers.
• Proven history of exceeding sales quotas and achieving regional or multi-market revenue growth.
• Background in recruiting, mentoring, developing, and retaining a diverse sales workforce.
• Strong understanding of complex managed-services solution selling, recurring revenue models, contract structuring, multi-service bundles, and consultative sales approaches.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing territory and go-to-market strategies.
• Strong skills in forecasting, pipeline management, CRM data analysis, sales metrics, and operational discipline.
• Capability to engage with C-level executives, lead strategic negotiations, and collaborate with executive stakeholders.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, solutions engineering, operations, customer success, and service delivery teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred; however, relevant industry experience and strong sales leadership accomplishments will also be considered.
