Area Sales Manager – Water & Power

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Oversee all sales efforts related to Water & Power opportunities within the designated territory.

• Build and sustain robust relationships with End Users, Engineering Consultants, Contractors, and Channel Partners.

• Efficiently manage local channel partners (Manufacturer’s Representatives and Distributors) to enhance performance.

• Track and pursue project sales, service opportunities, and aftermarket sales with current clients.

• Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries while liaising with the Factory Service Group when necessary.

• Ensure accurate reporting and CRM updates to provide visibility into sales activities organization-wide.

• Remain updated on competitive landscape and market trends.

• Work in conjunction with the Country Manager and other Area Sales Managers to formulate sales strategies that align with company objectives.

• Deliver regular business forecasts for all products and services offered.

• Compile monthly sales reports with the Regional Sales Manager to facilitate precise forecasting.

• Demonstrated experience in managing sales of products and services for capital projects, resellers, and end users.

• Experience in managing a network of channel partners.

• An engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.

• Strong dedication to providing high-quality service to both internal and external clients.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, tact, and diplomacy when interacting with staff, customers, and suppliers.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Background in selling engineered industrial automation products or process equipment.

• Excellent time-management and planning abilities.

• High degree of self-motivation, independence, and accountability.

• Familiarity with the water and wastewater industry.
