This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Responsible for enhancing and sustaining sales volume with both existing and new clients for UR’s range of collaborative robots and MiR’s Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).
• Fully oversee a designated sales territory and manage all business transactions and relationships within the region (Northern California & Northern Nevada).
• Collaborate proactively with relevant division management, associated support departments, and multi-channel partners.
• Engage with various stakeholders at partner and customer levels, including Engineering, Maintenance, IT, Logistics, Management, and C-Suite executives.
• Manage the opportunity funnel, along with forecasting and action plans.
• Drive KPIs and implement action plans to achieve the annual combined target for both UR and MiR products.
• Develop strategies to address sales challenges if there is a revenue shortfall against targets.
• Assist existing partners throughout our sales process (such as customer visits, team meetings, emails, PDRs, demonstrations, proposals, pricing negotiations, and more as necessary).
• Conduct regular business reviews with partners to address challenges and foster sales growth.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher (BSEE or BSME preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 4-5+ years of experience in outside sales.
• Must have a proven history of surpassing sales quotas.
• Demonstrable success in advising on or selling technical products.
• Experience with distribution and omni-channel sales.
• Previous experience in industrial automation and solution/project sales involving technical products.
• Business acumen applicable at various levels of decision-makers, from senior management to technical support.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred.
