This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Responsible for revenue, margin, and profitable growth within the sales territory of Germany and the DACH region.

• Focused on actively acquiring new customers and targeted market development as a core aspect of the role.

• Expansion of existing key accounts with processors, trading partners, distributors, and project clients.

• Development and implementation of a regional sales and market engagement strategy.

• Leading price, terms, and contract negotiations at decision-maker and management levels.

• Placement and market introduction of new products in close coordination with internal interfaces.

• Analysis of market potentials, competitors, customer developments, and pipeline within the CRM system.

• Management of sales activities from initial contact to closure in both field and remote environments.

• Close collaboration with internal teams from product management, inside sales, and international contacts.

• Regular travel within the DACH region is required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in business, engineering, or a comparable qualification.

• Several years of experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, or Sales Engineer in technical B2B sales.

• Preferably a background in one or more of the following sectors: water, wastewater, and drainage systems (e.g., municipal infrastructure, civil engineering, sewer construction).

• Proven successes as an active sales professional with a hunter mentality: focus on acquiring new customers and markets, not just maintaining existing accounts.

• Strong negotiation skills, ability to close deals, and build robust business relationships.

• A technical understanding is advantageous but not a prerequisite; product-specific knowledge will be provided internally.

• An entrepreneurial mindset along with an independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style.

• Proficient use of CRM systems and MS Office.

• Fluent in German and English for effective communication in both national and international contexts.

• Residency in Germany and willingness to travel regularly within the DACH region.
