This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Execute a diverse array of responsibilities associated with the origination of residential mortgage loans.

• Achieve the standards and objectives set by management for team mortgage loan sales and cross-selling initiatives.

• Oversee the overall production of the team and manage the daily activities of each Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).

• Collaborate effectively with Fulfillment Operations to enhance closed volume.

• Proactively recruit and develop talent.

• Onboard, mentor, and train MLOs.

• Assess the quality levels of loan originators to ensure compliance with established standards.

• Manage both personal and team production utilizing local and Bancorp reporting tools.

• Develop strategic and tactical plans aimed at driving volume growth in the designated area.

• Monitor operational, risk, and compliance issues and take necessary actions when standards are not achieved.


⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential mortgage sales is required.

• Extensive knowledge of conventional, government, and portfolio guidelines.

• Preferably 1-3 years of mortgage management experience.

• Thorough understanding of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.

• Strong knowledge of federal lending regulations that govern real estate lending.

• Proven organizational skills.

• Must exhibit leadership by example and possess a high level of integrity.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proficient with PC and Windows-based software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience with mortgage origination systems and automated decision-making tools is required.

• Ability to inspire the team, work independently, manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to rapid changes in the work environment.
