This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• The Area Sales Manager serves as the representative of our company to our primary customers – our dealers.
• This position aims to enhance the volume of funded deals by collaborating with dealers who align with our business goals.
• The role of Area Sales Manager facilitates growth by recognizing, onboarding, and nurturing partnerships with dealers in their designated local regions.
• Western Funding’s program necessitates a consultative sales and management strategy.
• Building robust relationships with dealers who comprehend how the program can propel their business growth is crucial for success in this role.
• Comprehensive training for new hires is offered to support your success in this position.
• Present and articulate company products and services to various management levels within both Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person.
• Identify sales opportunities and engage with these and other assigned accounts.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals received from phone inquiries for Independent and Franchise dealers.
• Cultivate, sustain, and expand current and potential dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities.
• Maintain consistent and effective communication, whether via phone or in person, with dealer partners regarding current programs.
• Provide training to dealers on Western Funding, including the necessary documentation for prompt contract funding.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• A college degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Automotive, Finance, and Sales is necessary.
• Prior experience in the Financial Services Sector or within a Car Dealership is required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a demanding sales role with a demonstrated record of success is necessary.
• Clear and effective presentation skills are essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are required.
• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques is beneficial.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to adapt to new technologies are necessary.
• Results-oriented mindset: achieving objectives in alignment with company goals.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to visit Auto Dealers is required.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position, as driving is a key function.
