• The Area Sales Manager represents our company to our primary clients – the dealers.
• This position aims to enhance the number of funded transactions by collaborating with suitable dealers.
• The role of Area Sales Manager facilitates growth by recognizing, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with dealers in their assigned local region.
• Building robust relationships with dealers who recognize how the program can benefit their business is crucial for success in this position.
• Comprehensive training for new hires is provided to ensure your effectiveness in the role.
• Present and articulate the company’s products and services to all management levels within Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person;
• Identify sales opportunities and engage with assigned accounts and prospects;
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated through phone calls for Independent and Franchise dealers;
• Cultivate, sustain, and expand relationships with existing and potential dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer sectors;
• Maintain consistent and effective communication, either via phone or face-to-face, with dealer partners regarding current programs;
• Provide training to dealers on Western Funding, including the necessary documentation for expedited contract funding.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is necessary (required).
• A college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Automotive, Finance, and Sales sectors.
• Previous experience in the Financial Services Sector or a Car Dealership is essential.
• 1-2 years of experience in a demanding sales role with a proven track record of achievement.
• Excellent presentation skills that are clear and effective.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and sales strategies.
• Strong computer literacy and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Results-oriented mindset: achieving objectives aligned with company goals.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to visit Auto Dealers.
