This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• The Area Sales Manager serves as the representative of our company to our primary clients – the dealers.
• This position is focused on enhancing the volume of funded deals by collaborating with dealers that align well with our objectives.
• The role of the Area Sales Manager fosters growth by pinpointing, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with dealers within their designated local region.
• Building robust relationships with dealers who recognize how our program can facilitate their business growth is crucial for success in this position.
• This is a full-time role reporting directly to our Regional Sales Managers.

• You will join a positive and supportive team that encourages you to overcome sales challenges.
• Present and articulate our company's products and services to various management levels within Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person; identify sales prospects and reach out to these and other assigned accounts.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from telephone communications with Independent and Franchise dealers.
• Develop, sustain, and expand existing and prospective dealer partnerships within the Independent and Franchise Dealer networks.
• Maintain constant and effective communication, through phone calls or in-person meetings, with dealer partners regarding current programs.
• Educate dealers in Western Funding, including the necessary documentation for prompt funding of contracts.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• A college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• A solid understanding of Automotive, Finance, and Sales is necessary.
• Previous experience in the Financial Services Sector or at a Car Dealership is required.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a challenging sales role with a proven success record is essential.
• Clear and effective presentation skills are required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques is important.
• Strong computer skills and an ability to adapt to new technology are required.
• Results-oriented mindset, aligning actions with company objectives.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Must be comfortable with travel up to 75% of the time for visits to Auto Dealers.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this role, as driving is a key function.
