Area Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Present and articulate the company's products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person;

• Identify and engage sales prospects as well as manage assigned accounts;

• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from phone calls to Independent and Franchise dealers;

• Develop, nurture, and expand relationships with current and potential dealer partners in the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities;

• Maintain consistent and effective communication, whether by phone or in person, with dealer partners regarding ongoing programs;

• Train dealers on Western Funding processes, including the necessary documentation for expedited contract funding.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint);

• High School diploma or equivalent (mandatory);

• College degree or relevant work experience (preferred);

• Strong understanding of Automotive, Finance, and Sales sectors;

• 1-2 years of previous experience in a competitive sales role with a proven success record;

• Excellent presentation skills;

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities;

• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and effective sales techniques;

• Strong computer skills with the ability to adapt to new technologies;

• Results-oriented: ability to achieve objectives aligned with company goals;

• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team;

• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus;

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time;

• A valid driver's license is required for this position.
