This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• The Area Sales Manager serves as the primary representative of our company to our top clients – the dealers.
• This position is centered on enhancing the number of funded deals by collaborating with dealers who align well with our business model.
• The role of Area Sales Manager fosters growth by identifying, onboarding, and nurturing dealer relationships within their designated local region.
• Building robust relationships with dealers who recognize how our program can contribute to their business growth is crucial for success in this role.
• Comprehensive training for new hires is provided to ensure your effectiveness in this position.
• You will present and articulate the company's products and services to all levels of management within both Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person.
• Identify potential sales prospects and engage with these and other assigned accounts.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated through telephone outreach to Independent and Franchise dealers.
• Cultivate, maintain, and expand current and prospective dealer partnerships within the Independent and Franchise Dealer networks.
• Maintain constant and effective communication with dealer partners regarding ongoing programs, whether through phone calls or in-person meetings.
• Educate dealers on Western Funding procedures, including the necessary documentation for swift funding of contracts.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A college degree or relevant work experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the Automotive, Finance, and Sales sectors.
• Previous experience in the Financial Services Sector or at a Car Dealership is essential.
• 1-2 years of experience in a demanding sales role with a demonstrated history of success.
• Excellent presentation skills are necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are required.
• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and sales methodologies.
• Proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Results-oriented approach: ability to accomplish tasks in alignment with company goals.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time for visits to Auto Dealers.
