This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• The Area Sales Manager serves as the representative of our company to our primary clients – the dealers.
• This position aims to boost the number of funded deals by collaborating with dealers that align well with our objectives.
• The role of Area Sales Manager fosters growth by recognizing, onboarding, and nurturing dealer relationships in their designated local region.
• Building robust relationships with dealers who comprehend how the program can enhance their business growth is essential for success in this role.
• Present and convey company products and services to all management levels within both Independent and Franchise Dealerships during in-person meetings.
• Identify potential sales opportunities and reach out to these and other assigned accounts.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated through phone interactions with Independent and Franchise dealers.
• Develop, sustain, and expand relationships with current and prospective dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer sectors.
• Maintain constant and effective communication, whether through phone calls or in-person meetings, with dealer partners regarding current programs.
• Provide training to dealers on Western Funding, including the necessary documentation for expedited contract funding.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• A college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the Automotive, Finance, and Sales sectors.
• Prior experience in the Financial Services Sector or within a Car Dealership.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a demanding sales role with a proven history of success.
• Clear and effective presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of warm calling, appointment setting, and sales strategies.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Results-oriented mindset: achieving goals in accordance with company objectives.
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to visit Auto Dealers.
