This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• The Area Sales Manager serves as the representative of our company to our primary customers – the dealers.
• This position focuses on enhancing the number of funded deals by collaborating with dealers that align with our business goals.
• The role of the Area Sales Manager fosters growth by discovering, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with dealers in their designated local Region.
• Building strong connections with dealers who recognize how our program can facilitate their business growth is essential for success in this position.
• Present and convey company products and services to all management levels within Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person;
• Identify sales opportunities and reach out to these and other assigned accounts;
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from phone calls to Independent and Franchise dealers;
• Develop, sustain, and expand relationships with current and prospective dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities;
• Maintain consistent and effective communication, both through phone calls and in-person meetings, with dealer partners regarding current programs;
• Train dealers in Western Funding, including the necessary documentation for expedited funding of contracts.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Automotive, Finance, and Sales is essential.
• Previous experience in the Financial Services Sector or a Car Dealership is required.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a demanding sales position with a proven track record of success.
• Clear and effective presentation skills are necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities are required.
• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and sales strategies is essential.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies are necessary.
• Results-oriented mindset focused on achieving Company objectives.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Being bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Must be comfortable traveling up to 75% of the time to visit Auto Dealers.
• A valid driver's license is necessary for this position, as driving is a key responsibility.
