This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• The Area Sales Manager serves as the representative of our company to our primary customers – the dealers.
• This position aims to enhance the number of funded deals by collaborating with dealers that align well with our goals.
• The role of the Area Sales Manager promotes growth by recognizing, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with dealers in their designated local Region.
• Building robust relationships with dealers who comprehend how the program can facilitate their business growth is essential for the success of this role.
• Comprehensive training for new hires is provided to ensure your success in this position.
• Present and convey information about company products and services to all management levels within Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person;
• Identify sales prospects and reach out to these and other accounts assigned to you;
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from phone calls for Independent and Franchise dealers;
• Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with current and potential dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities;
• Ensure constant and effective communication, through phone calls or in person, with dealer partners regarding current programs;
• Train dealers in Western Funding, including the necessary documentation for quick contract funding.
• A solid working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Automotive, Finance, and Sales is necessary.
• Previous experience in the Financial Services Sector or within a Car Dealership is advantageous.
• 1-2 years of experience in a demanding sales role with a proven success record is required.
• Clear and effective presentation skills are essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are needed.
• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques is necessary.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies are crucial.
• Results-oriented mindset: achieving objectives in alignment with Company goals.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to visit Auto Dealers is required.
• A valid driver's license is necessary for this position, as driving is a critical function.
