This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• The Area Sales Manager serves as the primary representative of our company to our top customer – our dealers.
• This position focuses on enhancing the volume of funded deals by collaborating with suitable dealers.
• The role of Area Sales Manager facilitates growth by recognizing, onboarding, and nurturing dealer relationships within their designated region.
• Building robust connections with dealers who comprehend how our program can boost their business is crucial for success in this position.
• Effectively present and communicate the company’s products and services to all management levels in Independent and Franchise Dealerships, in person.
• Identify sales opportunities and reach out to these and other assigned accounts.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from phone calls for Independent and Franchise dealers.
• Develop, sustain, and expand relationships with current and prospective dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer sectors.
• Maintain constant and effective communication, either via phone calls or in person, with dealer partners regarding current programs.
• Provide training for dealers on Western Funding, including the necessary documentation for prompt funding of contracts.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is necessary.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• A college degree or comparable work experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the Automotive, Finance, and Sales industries.
• Previous experience in the Financial Services Sector or within a Car Dealership is essential.
• 1-2 years of prior experience in a demanding sales role with a demonstrated record of success.
• Clear and effective presentation skills are required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are essential.
• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and various sales techniques.
• Proficient computer skills and adaptability to new technologies.
• Results-oriented mindset: achieving objectives in alignment with company goals.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time for visits to Auto Dealers.
• A valid driver's license is required, as driving is a key function of this role.
