Area Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within your designated territory, concentrating on small to mid-sized construction, roofing, lumber, and building materials firms.

• Develop connections with decision-makers, including owners, finance leads, and operators, rather than just a single contact point.

• Manage the complete sales process: from meetings and product demonstrations to proposals and onboarding, ultimately leading to a live, active customer.

• Maintain an accurate and current pipeline in our CRM to provide leadership with visibility into ongoing activities.

• Actively participate in your local market by attending industry events, joining associations, and conducting in-person visits to establish your reputation as a trusted local expert.

• Collaborate closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams (including onboarding, support, and product) to ensure deals progress smoothly and customers remain satisfied.

• Represent Fractal at trade shows and industry events as required, with travel arrangements coordinated through our sales enablement team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a quota-carrying, field or outside sales position (experience in construction, building materials, fintech, or payments is advantageous but not mandatory).

• A personable individual who is comfortable being the face of the company in their territory and genuinely enjoys meeting new people.

• Excellent organizational skills. You maintain a tidy pipeline and follow through on commitments without needing reminders.

• A self-motivated individual who seeks ownership of their market and is driven by the desire to build something significant, rather than merely adhering to a script.

• Dependable transportation and a willingness to travel locally on a regular basis.
