Area Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Execute tasks associated with the origination of residential mortgage loans.

• Achieve management's expectations for mortgage loan sales and cross-selling initiatives.

• Take charge of the residential mortgage loan process.

• Oversee a team of at least 5 Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs).

• Cultivate relationships with referral sources and foster a strong sales culture.

• Supervise compliance issues and guarantee the quality standards of loan originators.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is necessary.

• A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in residential mortgage sales is essential.

• Comprehensive understanding of conventional, government, and portfolio guidelines is required.

• Prior management experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures is important.

• Awareness of federal lending regulations that govern real estate lending is necessary.

• Proven leadership, organizational, teamwork, and customer service skills are required.

• Capability to analyze policies, procedures, and guidelines is essential.

• Strong sales techniques and coaching abilities are necessary.

• Proficiency in Windows-based software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
