• Taking initiative, the Area Sales Manager drives company objectives and sales goals by actively cultivating and sustaining robust relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and customers in the local market.
• Promotes and sells all Delicato Family Wines brands to achieve and/or surpass company sales targets.
• Establishes and nurtures strong partnerships with distributor and wholesaler allies.
• Organizes and conducts productive distributor/wholesaler meetings.
• Develops and maintains essential account and target lists.
• Implements assigned programs as instructed and introduces innovative initiatives based on market demands.
• Adheres to pricing strategies that leverage market opportunities.
• Ensures all business operations, policies, and practices comply with relevant legal and regulatory standards.
• Hosts wine tastings, fundraisers, trade shows, and other wine-related events.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in the wine industry or a related field, including consumer packaged goods; experience in managing distributor/wholesaler relationships is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a vehicle are required, along with an acceptable driving record.
