• Lead, mentor, and develop a regional sales organization to meet and surpass revenue, margin, and market share objectives.
• Establish clear business direction and convert enterprise strategy into field execution.
• Formulate and implement strategic business plans for aesthetics, reconstruction, plastic surgery, and general surgery accounts.
• Foster a culture centered on performance, customer value, accountability, and growth.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with surgeons, OR staff, hospital administrators, supply chain leaders, and clinical decision-makers.
• Oversee hospital sales, contracting, and access strategies across IDNs, health systems, GPOs, and facility-based accounts.
• Identify and leverage growth opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
• Analyze territory, account, and market trends to pinpoint risks, opportunities, and competitive dynamics.
• Manage sales forecasting, pipeline development, budgeting, and regional performance reporting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, medical affairs, market access, operations, analytics, and executive leadership.
• Support product launches, clinical education initiatives, and customer engagement strategies.
• Recruit, retain, and nurture top talent while cultivating future leaders and succession depth.
• Lead through transitions with clarity and confidence.
• Represent the company with credibility and influence during customer meetings, industry events, and internal reviews.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, corporate policies, and healthcare industry standards.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience in medical devices, healthcare, or a related commercial setting.
• At least 5 years of sales leadership experience overseeing regional or multi-state teams.
• Proven track record of leading hospital-based sales teams and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Extensive experience in hospital sales, contracting, account management, and engagement with IDNs or health systems.
• In-depth knowledge of aesthetics, reconstruction, plastic surgery, general surgery, or related surgical implant markets is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated capability to build, develop, and motivate teams to exceed expectations.
• Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proven capacity to influence across functions and operate effectively within a matrixed organization.
• Robust analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, forecast performance, and make informed business decisions.
• Proven ability to lead change, drive adoption, and enhance performance in a dynamic, ambiguous environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area as business needs dictate.
