Area Manager – Career Progression

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Execute the commercial strategy of the group within retail locations.

• Oversee product assortments and guarantee the accurate implementation of product listings.

• Drive innovation initiatives and enhance visibility for new product launches.

• Negotiate, revisit, and supervise promotional agreements.

• Carry out merchandising strategies and maximize shelf space efficiency.

• Assist with store resets, planograms, and broader category growth strategies.

• Evaluate commercial performance and suggest corrective actions as needed.

• Serve as an active field representative for national projects and key priorities.

• Independently oversee a portfolio of around 60 hypermarkets within a specific geographic region.

• Foster sustainable category performance, ensure top-notch in-store execution, and represent Unilever to clients.

• Develop insights into markets, customers, and decision-making processes through collaboration with head office teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Recent graduate holding a Master's degree (from a business school, university, or engineering program) or possess 2–3 years of relevant professional experience.

• Previous exposure to sales, marketing, retail, or FMCG sectors is advantageous.

• A valid driving license is mandatory.

• Strong field orientation coupled with a commercial acumen.

• Enjoys tackling challenges and possesses a results-oriented mindset.

• Excellent interpersonal abilities with a capacity to influence others.

• Demonstrates autonomy, strong organizational skills, and an analytical approach.
