This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Operate within the Sales division and report directly to the designated Area Sales Director.
• Oversee sales and customer service within the designated New York Metro area.
• Achieve the sales goals set for the assigned territory.
• Build and nurture relationships with physician clients and hospital staff.
• Provide support for the region as necessary to reach growth targets.
• Identify and assess market opportunities and sales potential for each account.
• Set and accomplish annual sales targets.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies and tactics based on product offerings, competition, and pricing requirements.
• Analyze the territory to pinpoint key target accounts.
• Keep track of competitive actions and gather relevant marketplace insights.
• Collaborate on contracts, pricing, and vendor documentation needs for hospital and institutional clients.
• Execute launch strategies as directed by the Vice President of Sales.
• Deliver product presentations and customer in-services.
• Maintain clinical and technical proficiency through training, workshops, publications, networks, and professional associations.
• Prepare and submit reports to sales management, incorporating territory sales data, customer information, and sales forecasts.
• Communicate effectively with hospital staff and Scientia leadership.
• Adhere to company, hospital/institution, and industry guidelines for compliance and professional behavior.
• Utilize independent judgment and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree or a Healthcare Degree such as NP, RN, or RT.
• A minimum of five years of sales experience in the medical device sector, particularly with interventional devices and ideally within the neurovascular field.
• Alternatively, at least five years of experience in a clinical environment dealing with interventional peripheral vascular or neurovascular devices.
• Proficient in using CRM tools; experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Ability to fulfill all credentialing requirements necessary for access to specific hospitals/institutions in the assigned region/territory.
• Commitment to staying updated on overall and account-specific credentialing requirements.
• Credentialing prerequisites include criminal background checks, drug screenings, and national sex offender registry checks.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.
• Capability to successfully complete standard pre-employment screenings, including background checks with MVR and drug tests.
