Area Installation Specialist, Interior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Support the customer experience throughout the entire installation job lifecycle.

• Carry out technical measurements, evaluate existing conditions, and confirm product specifications.

• Perform Job Site Inspections to assess work quality and verify service provider credentials.

• Engage with customers to guarantee that the installation experience aligns with The Home Depot's standards.

• Address customer complaints and any outstanding inquiries.

• Make decisions to avert delays in the project timeline.

• Collaborate with service providers to resolve any issues that arise.

• Approve or escalate project modifications before work commences.

• Ensure all outstanding items are completed to the customer's satisfaction.

• Maintain consistent communication with customers and provide timely follow-ups.

• Resolve changes in scope of work, additional labor requirements, material needs, open services, and Care Tickets.

• Oversee jobs within the designated area and product category.

• Inspect work for compliance with industry construction standards and document any changes in job scope.

• Address jobs that are on hold and initiate requests for changes in scope.

• Utilize reporting and related systems to enhance customer experience and installation accuracy.

• Report to the District Installation Manager; this position has no direct reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years old.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must successfully pass any applicable pre-employment tests.

• Experience in the construction/home improvement industry is preferred.

• Previous experience managing residential home improvement installation projects is advantageous.

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field of study.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.

• Exceptional time management and organizational capabilities.

• Strong negotiation skills.

• Sound business acumen.

• Proficient problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

• Collaborative leadership skills with a strong emphasis on partnerships.

• Capability to engage in intermittent periods of continuous physical activity, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting materials or equipment.

• Ability to work with regular exposure to dust, fumes, or odors.

• Overnight travel typically required is less than 10% of the time.
