Area Financial Services Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the financial strengths and weaknesses of potential and current customers to assess their eligibility for credit, financing, or related services.

• Establish and sustain effective communication with a reliable information network.

• Create, implement, and oversee collection procedures in line with established credit policies.

• Manage the collections process, which includes follow-up inquiries, negotiating with past-due accounts, and referring accounts to collection agencies.

• Offer insights for updating credit policy with new concepts and procedures.

• Analyze and suggest specific reserves for bad debt expense when assigned.

• Understand, communicate, and enforce Simplot's Credit Policy and Procedures.

• Assist in providing and interpreting credit information for management and other stakeholders as needed.

• Stay informed about agricultural trends, changes, and practices.

• Supervise two Credit Analysts within the region.

• Deliver Area Financial Services across the United States, including Hawaii.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited 4-year college or university.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and/or training in Credit Management and Financial Services.

• Experience in Ag Finance is preferred but not mandatory.

• Background in Turf & Horticulture is preferred.

• Must reside within the Central Time Zone, ideally within 50 miles of a major airport.

• Must live in close proximity to a major airport to meet regional travel expectations.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

• Candidates must be able to pass a post-offer criminal background check if offered the position.
