This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +2 more states.
• Report to the Regional Business Director (RBD)
• Supervise and manage a team of 9–12 representatives within the vaccines portfolio
• Take responsibility for the sales performance of the area business portfolio
• Evaluate the area landscape, identify key stakeholders, and analyze future market trends
• Create comprehensive sales business plans tailored for the local healthcare ecosystem
• Conduct regular in-field and virtual coaching sessions while observing field representatives
• Frequently engage with customers and foster partnerships with accounts, retail, and marketing teams
• Recruit, coach, develop, and oversee representatives
• Set team objectives, enforce performance standards, and manage underperformance
• Cultivate a positive team culture and provide development opportunities
• Formulate and execute strategic area business plans
• Manage area-level budgets and allocate resources effectively
• Analyze data to spot market trends and predict business shifts
• Monitor the usage of promotional materials and field execution
• Collaborate with Marketing during the Operational Planning process
• Establish relationships with KOLs, IDNs, large group practices, retail stores, Grantees, FQHCs, DoD, and VA customers
• Lead scientific discussions with customers across the vaccines portfolio
• Identify opportunities for key account development
• Connect Healthcare Service Providers (HSPs) with channel and HQ partners to meet customer needs
• Guide representatives on digital tools, cross-functional collaboration, and CAPS execution
• Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and Pfizer policy standards
• Promptly escalate compliance issues and exemplify integrity
• Utilize digital and virtual tools and platforms effectively
• Implement data-driven resource management across a dual-portfolio area
• Leverage sales data and reporting software to refine strategies and adapt to technological advancements
• Travel across representative territories, including expected overnight stays
• Participate in area and national meetings
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6+ years of experience
• At least 6+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales
• Minimum of 3–5 years in a proven leadership role among peers and customer groups
• Experience in engaging key thought leaders or high-influence customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards
• Any DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within the last 7+ years disqualifies candidates
• Proven capability to influence and collaborate with peers, mentor others, and create business impact
• Master's degree with at least 5+ years of experience, or a PhD with 1+ years of experience (preferred)
• 5+ years of people management experience (preferred)
• Strong preference for candidates with vaccines experience and expertise
• Ability to cultivate team expertise across a wider portfolio with a Science First mindset

• Advanced skills in virtual communication
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
• Proficiency in interpreting sales data, reporting applications, and evolving technology platforms

• Required to travel in the field and for overnight stays
• Must be able to travel across all representative territories within the area
• Attendance at area and national meetings is mandatory
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. from any employer
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required
• Secondment for a duration of 12 months
