This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Operate LIDAR scanning equipment to capture visual and dimensional data at project locations.
• Utilize laser, tape, scanner, and other surveying instruments to collect, verify, and document measurements.
• Register laser scan point clouds using various software solutions.
• Gather existing conditions data from construction sites and provide photographic evidence.
• Assist in producing as-built drawings, including floor plans, elevations, RCPs, roof plans, and site plans using AutoCAD and potentially Revit.
• Identify and document specifications for electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other systems.
• Create existing-condition drawings with AutoCAD or Revit following project scope requirements.
• Revise project deliverables based on redline correction sets and feedback received.
• Prepare and submit survey reports in accordance with company and client standards.
• Adhere to prescribed methods for documenting existing conditions.
• Comply with safety protocols to protect individuals, client property, and equipment.
• Complete administrative responsibilities such as timesheet entries and expense reporting.
• Work independently as well as collaboratively with experienced members of the Reality Capture & BIM team.
• Carry out other assigned tasks.
• Currently pursuing a 4-year degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel by air as needed.
• Capability to lift extension ladders and climb for roof access.
• Availability to work 40 hours a week.
• Openness to travel 40%-70% across the US.
• Flexibility to manage multi-shift schedules and adaptable working conditions.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Capacity to stand, walk, sit, and occasionally lift or move up to 15 pounds.
• Professional demeanor and courteous interactions with on-site clients.
• Skill in prioritizing and managing a diverse workload.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to thrive in a diverse workplace.
• AutoCAD experience is mandatory.
• REVIT experience is a plus.
