This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Advocate for Allegion’s specialized architectural consulting services focused on Division 08 and Division 28, which includes specification writing, submittal evaluations, and project oversight.
• Collaborate with potential and current architectural clients as part of a demand generation initiative.
• Actively cultivate relationships with design professionals in the industry to boost interest in Allegion’s brands and architectural offerings.
• Identify key target accounts; establish and oversee account strategies to facilitate both immediate and long-term growth.
• Lead architectural training sessions, including AIA Lunch and Learns, and engage in networking events within the industry.
• Secure specification writing opportunities from targeted architectural firms.
• Oversee each acquired specification project throughout its entire lifecycle.
• Actively seek and monitor new project opportunities by utilizing lead databases and leveraging industry connections.
• Work closely with the wider sales team on specification initiatives and during monthly market and project review meetings.
• Keep abreast of industry and competitor product knowledge by analyzing market data on competitive activities.
• Maintain a precise sales pipeline by using our CRM to log call reports, track assigned projects, and update essential customer and project information.
• Adapt to market changes and pursue ongoing education related to the construction sector and the requirements of various industry influencers; participate in local industry events.
• High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of business development or technical experience.
• Capability to acquire a basic understanding of security systems integrations and electronic components.
• Proficient in managing multiple projects, deadlines, and deliverables effectively.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation abilities.
• Skilled in business tools such as Bluebeam, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM software.
• Proven experience in influencing others with a proactive attitude.
• Strong focus on customer service.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Experience in architecture, construction, door hardware, or access control is preferred.
• Candidates must reside within the Oklahoma or Arkansas market to effectively engage with clients. Preference will be given to candidates located in Greater Oklahoma City, OK; Little Rock, AR; or Bentonville, AR.
