Arborist Trainee – Climber

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Manual removal of vegetation from designated work areas.

• Application of pesticides as required.

• Safely operate a variety of forestry equipment, including skidders, mowers, chainsaws, and ATVs.

• Conduct line clearance, pruning, and tree removals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability to work 45 hours per week.

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• A current and valid driver’s license along with reliable transportation is required.

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role, including walking on uneven terrain and lifting up to 75 lbs.

• Willingness to work at different heights.

• Eager to learn how to operate a bucket truck and other equipment safely.

• Prepared to obtain a CDL A or B license.

• Committed to obtaining and maintaining necessary licenses and certifications for career advancement.

• Must successfully complete a post-offer physical and drug screening, as well as a background and motor vehicle check.
