Arborist Trainee

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.

📋 Description

• Manual removal of vegetation from work sites.

• Application of pesticides.

• Safely operating a variety of forestry machinery, including skidders, mowers, chainsaws, and ATVs.

• Conducting line clearance, pruning, and removals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be available to work 45 hours per week.

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Must hold a current and valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.

• Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.

• Must be physically capable of fulfilling the job's requirements (e.g., walking on uneven terrain, lifting 75 lbs).

• Must be willing to work at various heights.

• Must be open to learning how to operate a bucket truck and use equipment safely.

• Must be willing to acquire a CDL A or B license.

• Must be prepared to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications for career advancement.

• Must successfully complete a post-offer physical examination, drug screening, and background and motor vehicle checks.
