Arabic Translation Quality Rater

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Review and edit customer service content generated by machine translation, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and consistency.

• Assess the quality of machine translation output and apply severity ratings as needed, adhering to project guidelines.

• Generate high-quality human translations to serve as reference data for model training and quality assessment.

• Adhere to specified style guides, tone regulations, and terminology standards.

• Detect and report recurring quality issues with machine translation as well as batch-level trends.

• Engage in ad hoc tasks throughout the year based on client requirements as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native fluency in Arabic (UAE) along with strong proficiency in English.

• Background in translation, localization, or translation quality review.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on quality.

• Capability to work independently in a virtual environment.

• Previous experience with a Translation Management System (TMS) is advantageous.

• Successful completion of mandatory assessments is required.
