AR Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily Accounts Receivable operations for the US and Canada, which includes invoicing, collections, cash application, dispute resolution, and customer account reconciliations.

• Manage AR processes in a SaaS or recurring revenue setting, concentrating on subscription-based billing.

• Ensure precise and timely billing by validating all supporting documentation and collaborating with internal teams to promptly address discrepancies.

• Act as a responsive point of contact for customer billing inquiries, delivering clear, professional, and timely support to clients in the US and Canada.

• Maintain AR sub-ledgers by monitoring payments, investigating discrepancies, and identifying unapplied cash or adjustments that need resolution.

• Contribute to month-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and AR reporting deliverables.

• Assist with audit and compliance requests by organizing and maintaining accurate documentation and records.

• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to scale AR operations as Heidi continues to expand.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in a technology or SaaS setting.

• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, with the capability to interpret data and pinpoint opportunities for process enhancement.

• Significant exposure to subscription-based billing and AR processes in a SaaS or recurring revenue context.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage both internal teams and external customers across various time zones.

• Proven capacity to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Demonstrated success in resolving billing issues and streamlining receivables processes.

• Willingness and capability to work a night shift schedule aligned with PST/PDT business hours to support operations in the US and Canada.
