A/R Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Comprehensive accounts receivable bookkeeping: oversee, assign accounts, and post outgoing invoices with an emphasis on B2B transactions.

• Dunning and cash collection: autonomously handle the dunning process and track outstanding items.

• Cash application and bank reconciliation: assign incoming payments and reconcile bank accounts effectively.

• Month-end and year-end closing: take an active role in closing activities, including account reconciliations and provisions.

• Process optimization: recognize opportunities for improvement and actively contribute to the development of scalable, automated AR processes.

• Systems proficiency: confident daily use of DATEV, AccountOne, and CountX.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have completed training as a tax clerk (all genders) or possess a comparable qualification.

• You have a strong accounting foundation (HGB — German Commercial Code).

• Several years of professional experience in accounts receivable, preferably within a B2B and/or eCommerce setting.

• Highly proficient in using DATEV; experience with tools such as AccountOne and CountX or similar is advantageous.

• Proficient in German (spoken and written) at a minimum C1 level and English at B2 level.

• You exhibit a structured, meticulous, and independent work approach.

• You possess a strong affinity for process optimization and digital solutions.

• Your robust analytical skills enable you to quickly understand complex numerical relationships.
