AR Accountant – O2C Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Record daily bank transactions to customer accounts

• Handle intricate cash application scenarios, encompassing partial payments, deductions, and invoice consolidations

• Administer customer master data within the ERP, ensuring compliance with segregation of duties (SoD) regulations

• Maintain the quality and accuracy of the accounts receivable subledger

• Execute collections through proactive and formal dunning processes (levels 1 and 2)

• Engage in identifying overdue payments and assessing customer credit risk

• Calculate, record, and oversee provisions for doubtful accounts

• Carry out month-end closing procedures related to the accounts receivable subledger, providing account reconciliations and supporting documentation

• Reconcile accounts receivable (AR) subledger balances with the general ledger (GL)

• Contribute to functional testing initiatives for the Unit4 ERP

• Assist in enhancing Order-to-Cash processes and automation projects

• Ensure the France scope is secured prior to facilitating its gradual international expansion

• Serve as the primary liaison for Sales Administration, Sales, Treasury, and Management Control teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's to Master's degree (Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred)

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Accounts Receivable / Order-to-Cash

• Ideally, experience in an international or multi-entity setting

• Professional fluency in French and English, both written and verbal, is essential

• In-depth understanding of the complete Order-to-Cash cycle

• Expertise in using an integrated ERP system (Unit4 preferred; SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics also accepted)

• Proficient in cash application tools

• Advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, lookup formulas, and controls

• Demonstrated experience in a multi-entity or international environment

• Strong technical understanding of month-end closing processes and reconciliations

• Detail-oriented, with analytical thinking, the ability to prioritize, and strong collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders
