Appraisal Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Request appraisals and liaise with appraisal firms, individual appraisers, and Lower employees to guarantee completion.

• Engage with appraisal management companies, individual appraisers, and internal mortgage department personnel from the initiation of appraisal ordering to final delivery.

• Oversee the appraisal desk email inbox and ensure timely resolution of appraisal orders and related correspondence.

• Support borrowers with their loan transfer requests.

• Examine appraisal management software reports to handle escalations, prolonged turn-times, overdue appraisals, unresponsive appraisers, and orders that are on hold or declined.

• Assist in submitting and tracking revision requests to appraisal vendors.

• Manage borrower appraisal disputes and aid in potential second appraisal orders.

• Address questions, concerns, and issues arising from appraisal evaluations.

• Provide email replies within a 2-hour timeframe.

• Ensure that loan transfers are finalized within specified deadlines.

• In-depth understanding of the mortgage industry.

• Technical expertise in mortgage pricing strategies and models is advantageous.

• Proficient in analyzing problems and devising effective solutions while managing multiple projects.

• Ability to provide email responses within a 2-hour timeframe.

• Capability to complete loan transfers within required timeframes.
