This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Perform technical site audits across various industries to evaluate system efficiency and identify potential improvements.
• Diagnose and resolve intricate utility system challenges, including those related to boilers and cooling systems.
• Create and present technical training materials and support resources for both internal and external audiences.
• Lead and oversee several internal projects from their inception to completion.
• Manage project planning, resource distribution, staffing, and coordination with vendors or subcontractors.
• Track project performance, schedules, budgets, and quality, making necessary adjustments as required.
• Ensure project results align with established technical, reliability, schedule, and financial criteria.
• Assist in geographic expansion efforts through technical knowledge and customer engagement.
• Serve as a primary evaluator for new product ideas and collaborate with R&D on developmental priorities.
• Contribute to the growth of the business by supporting sales initiatives and fostering strong customer relationships.
• Over 10 years of experience in the cooling industry.
• Previous direct value sales experience with a solid understanding of business principles and/or experience in roles that required influencing skills.
• Experience in new product launches and a focus on sales.
• Proficient in the administration and management of cooling chemical applications.
• Background in project management that involves planning, directing, managing, and executing large projects in a team environment.
• Experience troubleshooting complex situations that necessitate an organized problem-solving approach.
• Proven proficiency in analytical thinking, problem-solving, keen attention to detail, and rapid comprehension of technical concepts.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Strong capacity for independent work with a demonstrated history of growth and success.
• Proven ability to make decisions that balance customer needs with company goals.
• Technical leadership experience in product lines and markets.
• Knowledge in the development and administration of chemical programs for cooling systems, including corrosion, scale, and fouling management.
• Expertise in oxidizers and proprietary biocides.
• Familiarity with all types of cooling systems, whether open or closed.
• Strong preference for expertise in utilities related to the Power, Pulp/Paper Water, and Hydrocarbon and Chemical processing industries.
• Knowledge of reverse osmosis processes is an added advantage.
• Capability to develop and deliver training content for sales teams and customers.
