This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.
• Collaborate closely with OEM and end-user clients to apply automation product lines for resolving technical challenges.
• Partner with the sales team to identify and understand customer requirements.
• Attain expertise in product use cases, encompassing vacuum automation robots, wafer handling systems, loadports, motion controls, and software.
• Offer pre-sales technical assistance to customers and account teams.
• Facilitate product integrations at client locations.
• Showcase product features and performance effectively.
• Assist with First Article sign-off and manage product escalations.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in collaboration with Field Service personnel.
• Respond to OEM customer inquiries regarding all product-related aspects.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships as a technical liaison and trusted advisor.
• Comprehend customers' applications and markets thoroughly.
• Create comprehensive product specifications and outline solutions for high-value applications.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential customers and applications.
• Convey customer requirements to marketing and product engineering teams.
• Initiate and lead internal projects for customer requests, new products, enhancements, features, or software.
• Support customer visits and participate in trade shows and seminars, providing presentations as needed.
• Develop and deliver product demonstrations to secure opportunities.
• Technical proficiency in reading drawings and comprehending their functionality.
• Skills in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proactive self-starter with exceptional problem-solving abilities and motivation in facing challenges.
• Quick learner and effective team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Experience in a customer-facing position.
• Knowledge of electronic components, including sensors, switches, relays, and actuators.
• Capability to understand system-level wiring diagrams.
• Competence in systematically resolving issues and documenting outcomes.
• Strong dedication to achieving goals with a team-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in 2D CAD; familiarity with 3D CAD is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages or programming.
• Willingness to travel internationally, including to the USA.
