This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.
• Collaborate closely with OEM and end-user clients to address high-value challenges utilizing automation product lines.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to assist with customer applications.
• Work alongside sales to identify customer requirements and provide pre-sales technical assistance.
• Achieve expertise in vacuum automation robots, wafer handling systems, loadports, motion controls, and software applications.
• Facilitate product integrations at customer locations.
• Showcase product features and performance.
• Assist with First Article sign-off and manage product escalations.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in collaboration with Field Service personnel.
• Address OEM customer inquiries regarding all product facets.
• Cultivate and sustain customer relationships as a technical liaison and trusted advisor.
• Comprehend customers’ applications and industries.
• Create comprehensive product specifications and outline solutions for high-value applications.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential customers and product applications in collaboration with sales and marketing.
• Relay customer needs to marketing and product engineering teams.
• Initiate and lead internal projects for customer requests, product improvements, features, or software.
• Support customer visits and participate in trade shows and seminars as a presenter.
• Develop and conduct demonstrations to secure opportunities.
• Technical proficiency in reading drawings and comprehending their functionality.
• Skills in both electrical and mechanical domains.
• Self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving abilities and a challenge-driven mindset.
• Quick learner and effective collaborator with a proactive, fearless attitude.
• Experience in roles that involve direct customer interaction.
• Knowledge of electronic components like sensors, switches, relays, and actuators.
• Capability to interpret system-level wiring diagrams.
• Ability to systematically approach problems and document solutions.
• Strong dedication to achieving goals with a team-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in 2D CAD; familiarity with 3D CAD is a bonus.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages or programming.
• Willingness to travel internationally, including trips to the USA.
