Application Technician, Field Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Execute intricate trials for product positioning, application enhancement, or troubleshooting at customer locations in collaboration with field sales, the sales manager, or directly with the customer.

• Implement emergency deployments to safeguard revenue through the short-term utilization of specialized products, following arrangements with the sales manager.

• Conduct, assess, and interpret on-site product trials.

• Address technical customer inquiries and resolve complaints concerning product application and cleaning methodologies.

• Collaborate with technical consultants and regional service technicians to technically optimize equipment and system components, while also training operational personnel.

• Carry out regular service visits to key accounts in accordance with established service plans and general customer relationship management.

• Execute microbiological sampling.

• Optimize processes technically to enhance customer profitability.

• Engage in projects aimed at harmonizing products and applications.

• Conduct process trials for product modifications at production facilities.

• Create reports and work instructions tailored for customers.

• Perform performance assessments comparing competitor products in practical testing scenarios.

• Provide training for system advisors and customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Vocational training or relevant professional experience in the brewing, beverage, food, or dairy sectors, or equivalent qualifications.

• Additional education as an engineer, technician, or master craftsman is preferred.

• Knowledge of chemical and technical principles.

• Strong comprehension of hygiene standards.

• Ideally, experience in application technology.

• Excellent understanding of the food industry.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a confident presence with customers.

• Social competence and a strong commitment to service.

• Dependability and an ability to work independently.

• Capability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Enthusiasm, ambition, and dedication to the role.
