Application Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical assistance for enterprise applications, responding to user inquiries and resolving issues.

• Oversee application performance, detect bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.

• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring application problems and suggest preventive strategies.

• Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to facilitate proactive issue resolution.

• Assist with upgrades, patches, and deployments, ensuring minimal disruption for users.

• Collaborate closely with development teams to guarantee seamless software functionality.

• Work alongside vendors and third-party service providers for problem resolution and enhancements.

• Ensure adherence to security standards and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in application support and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with JAVA, Angular, and MySQL database.

• Practical experience in cloud environments, particularly AWS (including AWS Batch, Lambda, RDS, ALB/EC2).

• Hands-on experience in database monitoring, query optimization, and data archiving using AWS RDS.

• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Grafana.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and effective diagnosis of technical issues.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
