Application Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Process and manipulate client data files in XML, Excel, ANSI/ASCII, and PostScript/print image formats.

• Design, develop, and maintain document templates and workflows for print/mail and electronic presentation utilizing Quadient Inspire and/or Exstream.

• Create custom C# scripts/programs to validate data, automate processing tasks, and enhance operational workflows.

• Program, test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve data processing and workflow challenges.

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Customer Service, and developers to onboard clients and assess workflows/templates.

• Contribute to efforts aimed at composition convergence and standardization.

• Assist with live deployments and production acceptance.

• Adhere to implementation, testing, and deployment protocols.

• Maintain internal documentation that covers issues, resolutions, usage, and training.

• Convert business requirements into SQL queries, reports, and automated workflows for client communications and print-and-mail operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience, including professional experience and/or applicable education.

• Proficiency in writing scripts or programs to parse, transform, and validate data using C#.

• Experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures/functions and general database knowledge.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, work both independently and as part of a team, and meet tight deadlines.

• Familiarity with .NET / .NET Core.

• Experience with Quadient Inspire.

• Background in print-and-mail / variable data programming.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of Adobe Suite.

• Understanding of system integration concepts and API configurations.

• Familiarity with omni-channel output design.
