This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Configure and manage AWS-based monitoring and logging tools (such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config) and integrate them with third-party solutions like Datadog, Prometheus, New Relic, and Grafana.
• Establish alerts, dashboards, and escalation workflows within AWS and hybrid environments.
• Assist with AWS IAM management, cost monitoring, and basic security setups under the guidance of Engineering/DevOps.
• Conduct active monitoring and alert triage until additional staffing is available; develop run books and SOPs for incident management.
• Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps teams to ensure monitoring hooks are incorporated during service launches and infrastructure updates.
• Work alongside the CISO and CCO to ensure monitoring practices and access controls comply with security and regulatory requirements.
• Proactively identify and implement process enhancements across IT Operations.
• Identify and suggest additional coverage, tools, and workflows to support a growing IT Ops team.
• Continuously improve SOPs, automation scripts, and knowledge base documents to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Act as first-line support for internal technology issues, including hardware, access, and communication tools.
• Support the onboarding and offboarding processes by provisioning/de-provisioning AWS IAM roles, SaaS accounts, and hardware; coordinating secure retrieval/termination; maintaining access checklists; and enforcing security protocols.
• Collaborate with Security, HR, and Operations to fulfill compliance, audit, and security monitoring needs, as well as adhere to security best practices and regulatory standards.
• 3–5 years of experience in Application Support or Systems Support roles, ideally in early-stage or high-growth settings.
• Practical experience with AWS monitoring, logging, and IAM administration.
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools and workflows, with experience in setting up and maintaining alerting systems.
• Strong understanding of incident management and user access provisioning.
• Exceptional customer service orientation with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience providing Level 2 support directly to SaaS clients.
• Ability to work autonomously, make decisions, and create repeatable processes with minimal supervision.
• Experience working within compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in both Mandarin and English is essential.
• Familiarity with compliance-oriented IT practices, endpoint management, and incident/change management tools (e.g., ServiceNow) is a plus.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (Foundation) is beneficial.
