Application Infra Engineer, Storage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Identify and catalog residual NAS file shares

• Engage with application owners to inform them about the remaining infrastructure

• Initiate and oversee Change Requests for decommissioning activities

• Monitor progress and maintain organized boards in Jira

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in infrastructure management

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field

• Proficiency in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting

• Basic knowledge of Python

• Familiarity with change management procedures in regulated financial sectors

• Understanding of NAS/File Storage systems

• Experience with on-premises capacity management

• Awareness of cloud and on-premises object storage solutions
